This work comes with the quote: "Love...a beautiful rose with thorns!" It is a beautiful metaphor of life--how we don't get to enjoy the full promise of life without the "thorns" or the sacrifice (the tears and the heartache) that often comes along with it!
This work was inspired by the words of a tireless saint who put her words into action, Mother Teresa! She shared the key to "loving with all the heart" when she once said: "I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love." That's exactly what mothers do--"love until it hurts, then love more"! This design would be, especially, perfect for Mother's Day!
