Thanks, Chris! I appreciate your comment and support! Yes, this is a cropped version of the painting I did in acrylics of Hollyhock flowers with two Monarch butterflies! This is my favorite part of the painting!

Thanks so much, Wayne! I am usually inspired to paint for someone who is dear to me or on behalf of a charity! I feel driven and focused with that purpose of mind! I painted this for a dear Christian friend of mine! I chose the Hollyhock Flowerhead to paint, because it has a five-pointed star created by the shape of the inside of the Flowerhead (with the green petals)! The five-pointed star is associated with the "Star of Bethlehem" that led the wise men to the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem! So, this painting has a lot of symbolic meaning for Christians! Thanks so much for your support! I love your work, Wayne!
