Description
These collages bring to mind an Art Nouveau style! The idea behind them began one day with the simple act of appreciating wing patterns on butterflies and dragonflies and laying out repeat patterns and mirror images! Taking inspiration from my paintings, I designed derivative works from my art that resemble Kaleidoscopes! Reminiscent of Native American motifs like that of the Aztec, Mayan, and even Polynesian, you will enjoy the eye catching color and designs that are symmetrical and well ordered! These motifs were a natural by product of my experimental combining of shapes (much like abstract painting), and were not intentional from the onset! Interestingly, when parts of the insect wings meet in just the right place, the shape that they form remind me of openings or windows into a macro world of the insect!
If there is a particular Art Nouveau combination in a color or colors that you desire, chances are that I could come close to what you need! I already have hundreds of different combinations of my designs stored in my library, but if what you need requires custom work, please e-mail me through this website a detailed description of what you have in mind, and I can post it to the site upon completion for you to order! Thanks for visiting my gallery! I hope you find inspiration for your home or office or even your wardrobe in my artwork!
