Title
Evening Sun Sets Over a Lake Somewhere Off the Gulf of Mexico
Artist
Kimberlee Baxter
Medium
Painting - Acrylic And Digital
Description
Somewhere off the Gulf of Mexico a golden and purple sun begins to go down over a quiet lake. Suddenly, now the lake becomes illuminated with the sunlight shining directly on it! This makes for a peaceful and serene scene!
This detail of my painting was done with the help and instruction of a Master artist on this website, Glen Gray. He is both an exceptional artist and teacher. Glen is a wonderful Christian man who has lived a lifetime of preaching and teaching the Word and glorifying the Creator by painting His Creation! Please stop by his website and check out his amazing art! The website is: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/glen-gray.html

Revisiting this treasure... Some day I'd love to go plein air painting with you. Imagine what you could do with our desert sunsets!

Debbie, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment on this work and your appreciation! The hardest part of this work was getting the colors of the reflection of the sun in the lake water below just right and blended! I had some instruction on that part from a master, Glen Gray! Please check out his website info in the Description below!
