Yes, both children and grandchildren are precious to us as women! I am still just a mom and am not to the grandmother stage just yet, Brenda! LOL! But, yes, I am old enough to be a young grandmother! These works are written to honor my children's paternal grandmother! She is a wonderful cook, gardener, and, of course, the Best Grandma my children could have! We are very fortunate to have her in our lives! Thank you very much for appreciating this work with me! I really appreciate your support!

Thank you, Chris! I am so glad that you like this painting of my little boy when he was around a year old! He was sitting and playing in the grass and started looking down at his shirt, as if something unseen was there! Grandma got a picture of him with this expression, and when I looked at it, I thought I am going to paint a butterfly on his shirt! Many different butterflies and birds come to visit Grandma's garden, so you could easily expect to see these species in her garden! Thanks for the compliment and your awesome support!
