In the End Times, Jesus will come in the clouds, according to Mark 13:26: "then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Great, indeed, will be the sight of His power and glory as he is seen coming up in the clouds (never touching the earth again)! For the Believers, it will be a great day of rejoicing! For the unbelievers, they will try to hide from His majesty, but they will not be able to. However, God is not willing that any should perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:26). According to Wikipedia, this passage is the gospel in a "nutshell"--For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV). It can be a great day of rejoicing for all who will obey the Holy Spirit and believe, and repent of their sins, confessing that Jesus is the Son of God and was crucified, then rose on the third day. Lastly, those that are called by the Holy Spirit, a...
Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices! As a result, I decided to major in Political Science and Anthropology. Studying about different cultures, its art, and political systems has always fascinated me! I think that we can learn a...

Kimberlee Baxter replied:
Thanks so much, Dave, for being the first to comment on my new work! This is my first painting of an adult! I have only painted two other paintings with people as the focus, but they were of children; I painted one each of my two children when they were babies or under a year old! I felt led by the Holy Spirit to paint this and had to trust that God would give me the ability to paint it! I am so glad you like it, Dave! Thanks for your kind words and awesome support!
Kimberlee Baxter replied:
I did paint a very small figure reading underneath a Mediterranean pine tree, but she was not the focus of the painting or the original work in "Finding My Special Place"!
