“In One’s Element While Capturing the Splendor of Autumn”
One can feel uplifted as the eyes and the senses take in the vibrant colors of this season of Autumn...red, crimson, gold, purples, shades and hues of rich earth tones! For me, it feels like a Crescendo in a song that rises for a brief moment to crown nature’s creation before it falls to a state of sleepiness and of rest! I welcome this crowning of Nature’s Glory with open arms and an open heart—it is the Spirit of Change—that I welcome that the Wind blows in to both purify the senses and to clear out the old, stale energies, so that Old Man Winter can do his part to finish out the cycle of Life and usher in the new with the Coming of the Spring!

Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices!
