Artist's Description

I captured this lovely Sedum cluster of flowers in Grandma's Garden while the bees buzzed around and the butterflies flittered about on a bright sunshiny day! The kids played in her beautiful garden while the sunshine bathed them with light...it was a glorious day! I was walking along in Grandma's Garden, when I spotted this unusual shaped cluster of Sedum flowers in the shape of a heart! I thought that it would be very lovely and romantic to offer it in a simplistic color scheme, so I chose a monochromatic one! This would be a perfect image for wedding decor or to express romantic sentiment to someone special! I thought it would make for a catchy title if I played upon words with the name of the flower "Sed-um" to make it sound like one is saying "Seed Them in the Heart"!
This version has the center painted in the shape of a heart with a romantic sentiment expressed! This image could also be a dedication to your children or grandchildren as well, especially, for Valentine's Day!...

About Kimberlee Baxter

Kimberlee Baxter

Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices! As a result, I decided to major in Political Science and Anthropology. Studying about different cultures, its art, and political systems has always fascinated me! I think that we can learn a...
