Artist's Description

This work has the inspirational message "Love with All of the Heart". This quote was inspired by the words of a tireless saint who put her words into action, Mother Teresa! She shared the key to "loving with all the heart" when she once said: "I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love." That's exactly what mothers do--"love until it hurts, then love more"! That's why this work would be perfect for Mother's Day!
This is an edited version of my painting "Touch of the Roses" made into a lovely resin necklace. A very talented artist and jewelry maker, Carla Parris, used some of my art work to create a timeless treasure for Mother's Day, Her address is: www.carlaparris.artistwebsites.com. Please contact her for any orders.

Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices! As a result, I decided to major in Political Science and Anthropology. Studying about different cultures, its art, and political systems has always fascinated me! I think that we can learn a...
