Life is being created that looks like bubbles floating down of psychedelic colors in succession of one another and lines swirling about! This abstract is so full of light, it is luminous and so organic looking!
This is my first abstract painting that was inspired by taking my dried up paints and recycling them with water! First, I softened the dried globs of multiple colors and placed them on a paper towel and then dipped an angled brush and freely painted lines in the background. Next, I used a combination of brushstrokes and my finger to make the swirling patterns in the foreground! I hope that my artwork inspires you and brings you joy in your day!
Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices!
