"All the Parts of a Mother's Heart..."
All the parts of a mother's heart
are woven together a bit like a daisy.
Like its many different radiating petals,
Finding meaning and purpose in the midst of our exhaustion can be at times, a bit hazy (if not even a bit crazy)...
Splintered and going off in so many different directions,
Children, family, and friends--make up the best parts,
But the cares of this world pull at us and often require too much of our affections!
If only our vision could become more centered...
Like the intersection of all of its petals in the Flowerhead,
Now our focus could, alas, become clearer!
If only all the important parts of our attention could be brought at the close of each day together and concentrated like the radius of the sun,
And loved ones--so precious--held to our hearts more dearer...
A more meaningful purpose out of it all, would be rendered!
