"Wow, Ladybug Is Hot Today!"

I sooo love Ladybugs! Not only are they so beautiful to look at, but they are a gardener's friend! They help your plants and flowers keep looking beautiful by eating pests like aphids in the garden and yard.
Here, I have changed the typical color from red with black spots to a bright luminescent color that matches the Amber tinge on the center of this flower head...giving it a cool and almost psychedelic look!

Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices!
