I love who my Creator made me to be and do not wish to change, but I detest how women are made to suffer just because of their sex! Enough is Enough!

The founding fathers, primarily Thomas Jefferson, are attributed to writing the following words in the infamous document of the American Constitution...
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (Wikipedia)

But Ben Franklin changed the above words and, in so doing, may have had a profound effect on the course of women's history... Franklin made only a few small changes, but one of them was resounding. Using heavy backslashes, he crossed out the last three words of Jefferson's phrase, "We hold these truths to be sacred and undeniable" and changed it to read: "We hold these truths to be self-evident."
