Description
A turtle is swimming alone in a pond. As he swims at his own pace, he causes ripples in the pond, that are felt by others! The idea I am trying to convey is that we are not alone in this world, in a vacuum, but, instead, what we do AFFECTS others in some way--positively or negatively--our choice!
This was originally painted for a teacher at my daughter's school. I can paint many different designs on a canvas bag by mixing my acrylic paints with a textile medium!

Thanks, Debbie! I love turtles, and would love to look at your shot of a turtle! I am always looking for new sources of inspiration! If you would like to have your capture painted, with credit given to you for the photo, I would love to do so!

Thanks once again, Maria! I am glad that you really like this work! Again, this is another design, just like the painting of the Killer Whale, that was painted on a canvas bag! It is meant to be sort of stylistic and not, necessarily realistic! It would make sense for this turtle to be resting on something like a lily pad, because it is not submerged, so good question! Thank for all of your support!

I think there is something spiritual about the combination of Purples and Greens. What a sweet and endearing painting. Is she on a lily pad? So charming. FV

Carla, thanks for the compliment! I really appreciate it! I think that this work of a turtle would look eye-catching and would be honored if he were to be featured in one of your beautiful resin necklaces!
