Description
"Rising Spirit of the Tiger with the Sun"
I thought of you, Savannah, my dear and sweet niece, when I composed this painting. I thought of your strength and gentle beauty mixed with a fiery spirit and nature. If you look closely, you can see the smile in the tiger's eyes and that its mouth is slightly turned upward. This tiger is strong, brave and resilient--able to bounce back despite setbacks, hardships it faces, and tests of its patience and endurance! Like this tiger, never give up, though life's circumstances may try to cage you in and limit the pursuit of freedom to follow your dreams! Know that those that love you, even if they are no longer present on this earth, live on inside your heart!
***More to come later on why I chose to do this painting and the charity to which I want the proceeds from any sales to go to.

Kimberlee Baxter replied:
Thank you, my dear sweet friend! Your gallery is an inspiration to me! I am dedicating this work also for those who have physical disabilities (like my mom who was bed-ridden for three years before she passed last year), as well as those who fall victim to modern day slavery--sex trafficking! I am passionate about both fighting the root causes of these modern ills and to the healing and restoration of a survivor, too! Thanks for your appreciation!
