Description
This Fritillary Butterfly needed shelter after the weather had turned cold in these last weeks of October. My mother-in-law, Peggy, is shown here holding in her hand this sweet butterfly whose wings were injured and needed shelter from the cold and wind. If you look closely at its face, you can almost see a smile on this lovely butterfly! Please remember that ALL of God's Creation is to be treated well and with human kindness (albeit "God inspired"), and that we are all charged to be good stewards of the earth!

A beautiful and inspiring work, Kimberlee, giving expression to the notion that we are in the hands of the divine!

Thank you, Joel, for your thoughtful comment, and, yes, I really do feel that we are! The kindness that we show to all of God's creation is mirrored back to us, and we try to capture it as artists, don't we, Joel?
