Artist's Description
If the words roll off my tongue like a fiddle,
Then, for you, now will I speak a riddle...
All over the Southeast, like a gypsy do I roam,
But for the moment, I hang my hat in Tennessee and call its hills my home!
Yes, the hills of Tennessee keep calling me back, so I call It my home.
Like a gypsy, do I roam!
The hills of Tennessee will be where they bury me,
As plain as day, I can see!
The hills of Tennessee are all I need
To feel peace like a river in my soul, it does feed!
Yes, peace like a river
There's magic in these hills like none can deliver!
Yes, I hang my hat in Tennessee and call it my home
There's no need to wander anymore, no need to rome!
For this gypsy is ready to stake her claim
And give up fame...
All for a tranquil place to lay my head
And feel this ol' earth beneath my bare feet until I am dead!

Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices! As a result, I decided to major in Political Science and Anthropology. Studying about different cultures, its art, and political systems has always fascinated me! I think that we can learn a...
