"Night Magic"
The sun has gone down, and the time now is Spring. Like a fresh Spring rain, the air smells fresh and inviting! The moon is rising and is full tonight...bathing the lake scene in its ethereal light. As the human world begins to slow and stop its activity, there is a quiet hush of man made sounds; this quiet allows one to hear the night sounds of nature...shhh. Can you hear the chorus of frogs or of crickets, or even Cicada (at every seven year cycle!)? Can you feel the magic that is happening under the veil of the night sky? As if angelic beings are at work to aid nature in its cycle of rebirth, after a hard winter, or of death, everything begins anew! The caterpillar previously limited to crawling on its belly, awakes from its cocoon of deep sleep to discover it is truly a new creature who has found flight under the magic light of the moon!
Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices!
