There is a special magical place in Grandma's secret garden! It is a place where nomes live and butterflies flitter by and bees buzz along the garden path. Grandma's Roses are preserved here for reflection and preserving precious and timeless memories. In years past, all of her grandchildren have enjoyed their bright velvety texture and heady scent in their due season. They are truly a delight to the senses and the soul when in full bloom!

Thank you, Veikko. I painted this for my mother-in-law for her birthday. She loves roses and growing them! This was done to pay tribute to her wonderful gardening skills, not to mention being a grandma my two little children adore!

This painting was done to honor my children's paternal grandmother. These are just like some of hers, or Grandma's roses! They are very full and rich looking indeed! Her grandchildren love them!
