Fascinating subtle story for this elegantly radiant work, Kimberlee.

Artist's Description

It is a "Day of Judgment" for a pesky mosquito that has just laid eggs on a water lily pad! A green frog has spotted it and sticks its tongue out to eat it and its eggs, but the frog has competition in getting its food source! Some Koi fish also have spotted the pest and are coming up to the surface to get it as well. But wait, a green snake may get the mosquito before the other predators do! About Kimberlee Baxter

Kimberlee Baxter

Before I had my two children, I worked selling furniture and helping people to decorate their homes--my first passion--interior decorating/design and art! Before I went back to my first passion, I worked for a variety of non-profits and government sponsored programs--including AmeriCorps (domestic version of the PeaceCorps), D.H.S., and the University of TN. Before working in the non-profits, I attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and really enjoyed being politically active with a group that addressed socio-economic injustices! As a result, I decided to major in Political Science and Anthropology. Studying about different cultures, its art, and political systems has always fascinated me! I think that we can learn a...
