Title
And the Conversation on a Fencepost Continues
Artist
Kimberlee Baxter
Medium
Painting - Acrylic And Digital
Description
Two bluebirds are sitting on a barbed wire fence. The female is looking over to the male bird who is looking over at the Fencepost and neither is really making any headway in communicating with one another! This is a humorous commentary on conversation between the two sexes complete with blue golden green mountains in the background and overhead are golden blue skies with whispy light clouds! In the foreground, golden brown grassy fields blowing in the wind abound! There is a lot of detail on the barbed wire fence and the fencepost...combine for a great nature scene!
Much of this painting was done under the instruction of a very talented artist and wonderful Christain man, Glen Gray! Please visit his webpage, as he is also listed on this website!

LOL! Oh I know just how you felt! That’s one place that will drive you crazy if you’re in a hurry to get around the loop! I never go there “ in season “ unless it’s very early in the morning!
Kimberlee Baxter replied:
Yes, it’s both a beautiful place and a challenging place to be on the patience if you’re in a hurry! Neither the GPS on the phone nor the ability to dial out was working at all, so I just had to wait to meet up with my son’s group until what I figured would be the next logical point where they would stop—to eat at an amphitheater area, which seemed perfect for such gatherings, and I happened to be right! Thnaks for your appreciation for my work! All we can do is laugh at such situations, and get on the band wagon to take pictures like everyone else! LOL!

Beautiful piece! Looks like it could be a scene at Cade’s Cove! l/f
Kimberlee Baxter replied:
Thank you, Mike! We Tennesseeans share a special appreciaon for the beauty that is all our own, don’t we? Funny story about my recent visit to Cade’s Cove while on a field trip for my son...while looking for the campground store there (never had been there before), I accidentally got on “the loop” and one hour later came in behind a man that had actually passed me up while jogging! I think I’d must have gotten in behind every car from the North that must have been first timers going 3 miles per hour or less at times (sometimes, completely stopped)! Ha! Ha! Unfortunately, due to the massive rains we had received in the spring, the turn around points had been gated off until I’d finished going around the thing we call “the loop”! Just thought I’d make some people laugh today!
