Description
Meaning of Ancient Symbols:
According to Wikipedia, "Ideas about the nature of infinity. The ancient Indians and Greeks did not define infinity in precise formalism as does modern mathematics, and instead approached infinity as a philosophical concept."
The symbol of infinity looks like the figure 8 and reminds me of serpentine curves! That is what led me to design this work that has this symbol in the middle! Ancient Indians, as well as other ancient cultures, looked to their natural world for their inspiration in art and derived spiritual meaning from these! Over time, they became powerful symbols, as they reminded them of their metaphysical connection to all of Creation!
