Description
This is a welcoming Winter Scene complete with a cabin mountain home nestled below a mountain covered with evergreen and deciduous trees! There is a frozen pond in front! The home is very inviting and "homey" wih a decorated Christmas tree in the front heard, a cheery "Christmasy" looking porch and mailbox! This lovely winter scene is "framed" in with two deciduous birch trees in the front with two cardinals, one male and one female eying each other! There is even a snowgirl wearing an emerald scarf and crocheted hat with turquoise/sea foam green and emerald green with outstretched twig arms with the hands covered in mittens! The sky overhead is gorgeous with blue skies and light wispy clouds! One can see purple blue mountains with a mist rising up and clearing as the sun is coming out to warm this winter scene! I hope you enjoy the Winter magic I tried to create in this painting! I have another version of this painting as well, if you prefer it without the snowgirl!
Much of this painting was done under the instruction of a very talented artist and wonderful Christain man, Glen Gray! Please visit his webpage, as he is also listed on this website!
