Title
Understudy of a Fallen Green Maple Leaf in the Fall
Artist
Kimberlee Baxter
Medium
Painting - Acrylic
Description
It is fall, and the leaves have just fallen from the maple trees. They have been collected into a pile, carried by the wind. They are so thick under the feet, that they feel like a carpet to walk on! They make for a beautiful collection when viewed all together like a collage of leaves!
This detail of the original work shows the leaf turned over to show its underside. This showcases the intricate veins of the leaves that can only be seen and appreciated by a closer examination of leaves!

Thanks so much, Debbie, for your appreciation of my leaf series! I agree that these would look great in a grouping framed on the wall! I'll have to get back to you on taking on any future projects...possibly a project! Do you have any pictures to be inspired from? Thanks for your awesome support!
