Description
This spiritual work is a combination of two of my paintings:
"Abstract of Eagle in the Sky" and "Til' All Shall See Jesus".
The background for the first painting:
A storm is breaking up and the sunlight beams are breaking thorough the clouds! If you look closely, you can almost see the pattern of an abstract of an eagle in the sky in flight; hence, the title: "Abstract of Ealge in the Sky".
For the second painting:
When I first began to think about painting Jesus, I wanted to study about how he has been depicted throughout time, particularly through the eyes of the Western part of the World! Interestingly, because Westerners have over the last centuries, been in the forefront of leading the rest of the world, they tend to have a rather egocentric view in interpreting the history of the Christian Bible. Therefore, Christ has generally been depicted looking like a Caucasion, instead of someone of Jewish or Mediterranean descent! However, we know from reading the bible, that he was definitely Jewish and was the son (in a material sense), of a carpenter, but was (divinely) in spirit, the Son of God, or spirit incarnate, and Mary was his mother. We also know from careful examination of the bible, that he was humble or meak and put others first before himself! While on earth for a total of 33 years, he provided the ultimate example on how to live--performing many miracles by healing the sick, and by teaching and preaching the Good News, so that others might have hope in Eternal Life!
This first painting in this series is an original interpretation of my conception of Jesus...very intense spiritually and possessing a quality of Light and of Love! Christ has been ordained from before the foundation of the earth was laid (Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world . . . Ephesians 1:3-4 and John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. )! He is to be seated at the right hand of God "with great power and authority", and one Great day, all the world will bow to Him...
"then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Mark 13:26
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;"
Philippians 2:10

In the End Times, Jesus will come in the clouds, according to Mark 13:26: "then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Great, indeed, will be the sight of His power and glory as he is seen coming up in the clouds (never touching the earth again)! For the Believers, it will be a great day of rejoicing! For the unbelievers, they will try to hide from His majesty, but they will not be able to! However, God is not willing that any should perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:26)! According to Wikipedia, this passage is the gospel in a "nutshell"--For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV). It can be a great day of rejoicing for all who will obey the Holy Spirit and believe, and repent of their sins, confessing that Jesus is the Son of God and was crucified, then rose on the third day! Lastly, those that are called by the Holy Spirit, are to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and walk in the newness of life! He or she is a new man or woman--putting away the old!
This work includes the scripture taken from the passage found in Matthew in the New Testament:
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
--Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
