Description
"My Morning Walk with God"
But I will sing of your power; yes, I will sing aloud of your mercy in the morning: for you have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble.
--Psalm 59:16 American King James Version
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.
--Habakkuk 3:19
2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
--Isaiah 43:2 English Standard Version (ESV)
Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
--Deuteronomy 5:33 New International Version (NIV)
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
--Isaiah 30:21English Standard Version (ESV)
List of those in the bible who actually walked with God is very short...
*Enoch walked with God (Genesis 5:21-24). He continually sought God and found favor with Him. Therefore, God blessed and prolonged the years of his life; Enoch lived to an astounding 365 years! God loved him so much, that he didn't want him to have to suffer a physical death, and, instead, took him up into the heavens to be with him!
*Noah walked with God, and, therefore, found favor with God. As a result, his three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth and their families were all saved from the terrible flood! (Genesis 6:5-13)
*Abram (later renamed Abraham, which means "father of many") was a friend of God's and the Lord actually appeared to him in the form of two angels when he was 99 years of age and made a covenant that through him, there would be so many descendants, that they would be like the stars in the heavens! (Genesis 26:4) God kept his promise, and Abraham's wife Sarai (renamed Sarah), gave birth to Isaac, through which, if you follow the genealogy, Jesus descended from!
While there are other characters in the bible whom God spoke to in a dream, the above lists those who intimately knew God as His friend and learned to listen to him on a daily basis! If we wish to experience the true power that only comes from Our Creator, then we must be able to shut out the rest of the world in order to listen to what He has to say!
This detail of my painting was done with the help and instruction of a Master artist on this website, Glen Gray. He is both an exceptional artist and teacher. Glen is a wonderful Christian man who has lived a lifetime of preaching and teaching the Word and glorifying the Creator by painting His Creation! Please stop by his website and check out his amazing art! The website is: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/glen-gray.html

Very beautiful image! Love how you can see the fish in the water! Lovely colors and details! l/f Shared on Facebook
Kimberlee Baxter replied:
Thank you so much, Liesl, for your appreciation for my work! The fish represent Christians going in a different direction or path away from danger! The deer (the doe and her two fawns) also are being guided on the same path by the three butterflies (represent spirits from the other world) in the foreground!
