Description
This artwork was created with the blending of two different art patterns. For the top pattern, especially, I wanted to make it look like the colors were "bleeding" into each other, the way that paint or ink does when it is wet. Also, I wanted to create a psychedelic magical forest of the imagination as a background for two sweet and whimsical looking owls perched on a tree who give comfort and companionship in a crazy wild world!
Description of Background Work:
What started out to be a spontaneous creation of art using recycled paints has taken a long journey in creating artwork that has the look of waves of water on a sheet of glass in different colors. The recycled acrylic paints were combined to make streaks using both my fingers and various scraping tools. Then the resulting artwork had various filters applied and the mirror image of the work was used to create a seamless collage for an aesthetically pleasing design! This is one of many of my new digital designs that is both eye-catching and pleasing to the eye when viewed alone or used as a background for an interesting design.
