Description
As the wind blows through the trees and rustles the golden, blood orange, and Crimson leaves, I look up and see the deep blueness of the skies and the light wispy clouds drifting overhead; I feel as though Nature does a sort of Seasonal Dance with everything living and all of the elements of each season! I sense the atmosphere and how it feels electric...there is so much positive energy all about! Though these brightly colored leaves are already starting to drop to the ground, they still hang like beautifully fashioned jeweled ornaments to the branches! As they drop to the ground, they fill the dull earth with a burst of color and my sense of sight is so stimulated, that I delight greatly in the beauty of the Master of All of Creation and how it glorifies the Maker of All of Heaven and Earth! This work is to not only celebrate the beauty of Fall, but glorify the Greatest Artist of them all...The Great Creator--Alpha and Omega--God!
I chose to select from Debbie Portwood's wonderful gallery of Trees not only because it is very lovely, but because her work glorifies God and makes me feel like a visit to look at her beautiful galleries is like communing and worshiping with Him through the appreciation of her works! Not only is she a talented artist and photographer, she is a sweet Sister in Christ! This work was inspired by her eye-catching and very pretty photo "A Few Gold Left", which got me thinking about what that tree would look like if I viewed it in "Full Measure"--the way that the Creator sees us when viewed spiritually to our Highest Potential...in the Fullness of God! I thought, also, about how we never really stand alone, but stand with a Partner of Prayer...TOGETHER with God...where No One Stands Alone! The bible has much to say about the value and worth of a true friend..."A friend loves at all times!" (Proverbs 17:17). "There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother!" (Proverbs 18:24). In a sense, the beauty that is given out is mirrored in what we reflect and project! May you feel blessed when viewing this work and feel the Beauty and Love that is reflected in the Soul that most closely reflects the Creator--in all of His Perfection!

Thank you so much, Aurelio, for the compliment and your support! This was inspired by Debbie Portwood's lovely photo "A Few Gold Left"! The idea is add a panoramic scene that would invite the viewer into the work! Also, the mirror image of the tree is symbolic of Friendship and how we never really stand alone when we have friends!
